I danced in the TF back in 1967,8,9. Before I was married. I could not believe so many pretty ladies. It seemed like dying and going to heaven. They were so delightful to talk and joke with. I told my kids to go over to Ireland. Non of them did. I went out side and had fish and chips. There was an old bread truck that sold it. I stayed at the TF hotel too. Great memories. Those show bands were great. The music that I heard didn't play in the US until about 6 months later. Ireland was ahead of the US in the music. I also stayed in Dublin and the ladies were not as good looking as in Castlerbar. Not as nice to speak to either. culater
