a cara.....sorry to say joe blowick never did too much bicycle riding....however if you knew the man as i did....you would know why.....however joe was a west of ireland favourite....a great orator.....with a razor sharp tongue...... a fondness for cigars...and bacon and cabbage......with lots of kerr pinks....he began most of his rally speeches with his......people of cashlebarrrrr....and the surrounding dishtricts....when i entered politics in 1943...ireland was in a quare shtate......he spent alot of time in my home on mchale road...as he and general mulcahy were friends of my father....... his brother was parish priest in islandaedy for years......
