ger keegan and i were boyhood friends.....in our boyhood years ger owned a 16mill.movie projector which he loaned me....his sister marie was hit by a car at school lunchtime outside my fathers shop on shamble lane.....she later died of her injuries in my fathers shop....he worked for a number of years in peter dever's....he then went to latin america before he came to toronto....he and i re-established our friendship in toronto in the early '70s....and socialized regularly in toronto.....i was shocked to hear of his death ...his body rests in a funeral parlour in west toronto.....and his funeral mass is in holy rosary church on st.clair ave toronto....then his body will return to ireland for burial in the old cemetery......
