a cara,,,,,,the whittaker ....my friend "perty"......was in fact tommy whittaker....one of the whittaker family.....they lived on mchale road between ....the ..fair's....and tom scott's.....directly across from my house .. number 10....the whittakers were a wonderful family.....large in number....mrs whittaker was formerly....mary kate brinklow.....tommy worked in the bacon factory ....before going to england....a 'ronaldo' of sorts..despite the fact he lived with just one kidney........an avid rabbitt hunter....rounding up the dogs on mchale road on sunday morning was a regular task.....he was a mighty friend......
