a cara.....i forgot to acknowledge margad mor in my early posting.....but it was such an important event....as here the local farmers brought their produce and other items to town.....this was the market that filled their pockets for the season....and in the old days .....they used to bring in geese...ducks and chickens.......this was a very busy and exciting trading day......and various troubadors and other characters performed......usually at the top end of market square opposite willy munnelys'.....
