I remember Enda attending St. Gerald's college in the 60s and his persona was always upbeat, joyful and full of enthusiasm. I wish him well in his new post as he faces seemingly insurmountable challenges in the toughest economic times. No doubt he wants the best for everyone. He is flawed like all of us but just give him time and I have no doubt that all the West will be so proud of one of our own making a difference on the world stage of politics. God be with him and his family.
