Pius's class for a couple of years in late '60s. He was indeed very decent & very into music. He would make copies of the words of songs, particularly folk/Joan Baez & teach the class to sing them. To this day I still remember a lot of the words of certain songs. I think he also taught the recorder & mouth organ, again to the whole class who he always tried to encourage. I had heard theat he left the order & married, moving to Drogheda. BTW I was only the other day thinking of the 'big hit' that the La Salles had - 'Marianne'. If I remember correctly one of the members was Dermot Fahy, who I think owned an electrical shop in the town. I might add that others from that era who taught me were Br. Augustus or 'Gussie' who was fond of the leather strap but otherwise OK @ Mr Mc Hugh who was another really decent man.
