I loved to read as a young girl as I do now,in fact I am a book fanatic. No Kindle for me.My memories of the old library are sweet. If I got all my jobs done around the house on Saturday morning ,I was off to the library in the afternoon.Enid Blyton was a favourite author.I also loved the Bobbsey Twins,Nancy Drew,The Hardy Boys and Cherry Ames books. One of my favourite things to do in these dog days of summer in Texas is to sneak off to the cool library and sit and enjoy a short story or two.The librarian I believe I remember in the old Castlebar library was Kathleen Walsh.Very nice lady.I visited the new library in May while I was at home and saw the wonderful exhibit of some of Dr Brown's photos.Very enjoyable.
