Most people are aware of the weather lore regarding St Swithins Day (July 15th).

According to the tradition :
“St Swithin’s Day, if it does rain
Full forty days, it will remain
St Swithin’s Day, if it be fair
For forty days, t’will rain no more.”

Does anybody have any other sayings or folklore ragarding weather predictions?
