Excellant recall by Oliver about the FCA, it's characters and Finner camp. I was in the FCA for 4 years, and yes we had some great times in Bundoran, all the best looking ladies seem to be there. It truly was a magical place then, back in the 50's. I remember one night I got back late to my billet, got ready for bed and jumped in only to put my legs through the top bed sheet, another victim to the famous french bed. Those were the days, as the song goes, we thought they would never end.
