I got a hold of the Connaught today and saw the pictures of the demolition. Sad to see but having visited the new club house on Westport Rd several times, the show goes on. The sales of Jeyes Fluid will not be as high as during the 60s in the Pavillion! Great memories though and maybe it's as well for some that walls can't talk.
