Most tragedies seem to have their share of heroes and villains. The good news in this case is that more of the attention is going to the victims.I read that the heirs of Bruce Ismay are
trying to clear his name on the basis that the unfavorable/biased press coverage at the time did
not give an accurate account of his actions.
The Connemara connection is interesting.Did he ever visit Addergole?The Addergole commemoration
was featured on the CBS national news here in US.
It was one of two events covered.The other was the ships meeting at the site.The plaque was also part of the feature.The organizers did a super job.
