a cara.......i cant really explain that....i know when saleen was drained....alot of pike died....but with no knowledge as to the whys im at a loss....i can assure you i had no hand in the purging....but that time of the moy drainage was a memorable time...baynes from main street was nthe paymaster......and i had a run in with him....one thursday he refused to give me my cheque....he said he was going to give it to the wife......in hindsight that might have been a good idea.....but....it was going to wash with me.....i had a verbal exchange with him at j.b.morans corner..with jack cassidy throwing in his five cents worth.....suggesting i go to the archdeacon nohilly.....quite heated... i went to the tweed centre....and eventually after i made him an offer he couldnt refuse he gave me my cheque.......he eventzually told me i would have to pick up my cheques at the moys offices in ballina....i told him he was a prick...but i would be sober in the morning..a play on a winston churchill statement....i can tell you i never did have to go to ballina.....but i never went into the tweed centre again......those were the days.....
