I have some wonderful cousins there by the last name Brown and they would tell you because some of them worked there. Tell them hello for me. We had a place here called the mink farm just about like it, I think. It was a place to look forward to leaving. It put a terrible smell on you and your car. I left the car with the windows open out in the field for 2 weeks. You only went to work in those places if you couldn't find anything else. I only stayed 2 months. Had to feed my mother and sisters some way. Looking back, the mink farm and bacon factory did help and feed many. The owner use to pick up drunks off sid row in Chicago and put them to work. As soon as they sobered up and got a pay check, they were gone. culater
