Once some one asked me about Dad. Same name. Well he was called the juke box king in Chicago. He had over 5,000, and a number of pool tables. Remember I never seen him from about 10 to 22 years old. He would walk into the meanest, tough bar on Sid Row with his big black dog Mickey, a half size german shepard. Mickey would follow right at his heels and no leach. If you even gave a dirty look at Dad, Mickey would show his teeth and growl at you, very loud. No one would rob Dad because of Mickey. Dad would carry his little coin wrapping machine and put it on the table and empty the coins from the machines and crank it up in front of all. It was a real show. All those mean one looking at Dad and Mickey. I think he gave half to the bar owner and took the rest with Mickey and left. I think Mickey ate a lot of steak. He had a big Buick or Caddy. I remember in the 40s he had a Lincoln. It was like a movie. Everyone liked him, he was a smooth talker using his brog. Even the gangsters did. One child that use to see Jesus said, he was told that Dad was in heaven and very happy. Some children can hear Gpd but the parents tell them off and they lose it. It seem that most of the children lose that gift at about 17 years old. I have a lot more stories like this one.
