Oh Stauntons certainly sold records!!
Worked there for three months in late 1975 and used to blare out Rhinestone Cowboy fifty times at day hoping to bring the customers in.
Managed to only sell a packet of batteries on a wet Monday in early December and was sure Jack would fire me but it didn't happen. From then on it was Big Tom and the Mainliners!! Kinda tough for a rock and roller, so had to move on, ( down the line!!! ) Ah lovely memories.
