The first property was the garage which Jim Barrett built, he also built the next 4 houses.
The garage was used as a garage, cinema and a dance hall. the dance hall had a sprung Canadian Maple floor.
This I believe would be the late 1940s.
The first house was James J (Jim) and his sister Ciss (Bridget).
The second house was Baby (Sabina) and her brother Paddy (Patrick).
They would have returned from the UK in the mid 1960.
The third house was Mick Barrett, his son Paddy Joe and his family lived there for a short period early 1960.
The 4th house was Jackie Elliott, son of Ciss Elliott (nee Barrett).
All of these Barretts were brothers and sisters.
