Hi Noel, I'm currently looking into the history of the hotel. The previous owner before Edward Reid who took over the hotel in December 1902 was a Mrs. Horton. Before her, a Mrs. Murtagh owned the premises. I can go back further but the hotel and other buildings beside it was the subject of a legal dispute which took years to sort out. I'll put what I find up on this board if I can.
