I would like anyone to name just one kid, growing up on McHale Road in the early fifties to late sixties who never "robbed an orchard". I think it was a challenge slid down by your peers to prove yourself worthy of belonging to "the gang" whether it be the top of the road gang, the middle of the road gang (which I belonged to) or the bottom of the road gang.
It was probably the only "sin" ever to be confessed to on a Saturday afternoon.
"forgive me father fir I have sinned" "and what was your sin, son?" I robbed an orchard.

Wouldn't life be so much better today if that was the extent of our sins?.....just saying....
