Recently I posted a message on the death of my childhood friend paddy joe Mcginty but due to a technical glitch it never posted...I feel remis that I should not express my loss now.....paddy joe was a childhood friend...we caught bees and butterflies in jam jars as they landed in their flowered garden....in 1947 Eddie Dempsey went on to ride caughoo aŁ50 horse to win the grand national a 100/1 outsider.....that year year paddy joe went on to ride their piebald pony aptly named caughoo in the annual fancy dress parade ..paddy was dressed in finest jockey colors and won 1st prize...paddy encouraged me join the FCA and we soldiered together in renmore and finner camp...the mcgintys were a close family friend.....paddy joe I I'll never forget you....rest in peace my dear friend......to his family my sincerest condolences....a black veil has fallen on mchale road as another old stock goes to their heaven
