Searching for relatives

Hi my grandfather was born in castle bar 1884 George Michael or Michael George Garvey . He was living in England in 1911 I think he left Ireland around 1904. He was a tailor by trade . I am hoping have my first visit to Ireland this year and wondered if there was any way of finding out more about him. He was dead before I was born. Thanks it would be great if I could meet up with someone who knew of him or his family in Ireland.
