Thank you miceal Bernie got his nick name from the comic strip ..the phantom which appeared on the Sunday independent ...sonny Delaney and Christie Walsh his friends dubbed him the phantom ...Bernie was a gentle lover of life ...from his love of music ...his sax playing...his writings ..his radio shows...i feel proud I gave him the opportunity to see where he was born in toronto ...and the visit to his father's grave in Mount hope cemetery toronto...we did many things together that are treasured memories...may he rest in peace
