SEÁN HOBAN R.I.P.

Dr. Seán Hoban from Blackfort, Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland, he was the son of the late John and Lena (O’Grady) Hoban.

Dr. John J. “Sean” Hoban, MD, 83 of Cumberland passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Anne (O’Malley) Hoban.

Dr. Sean was an anesthesiologist for forty years at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, retiring in 1995. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Deirdre O’Sullivan, Sean Hoban, and Rona Busse, a sister, Teresa O’Connell, a brother, Dan Hoban, eight grandchildren, Niamh and Ciara O’Sullivan, Nicholas, Domenic, Sean, and Elena Hoban, Desmond and Eamon Busse. He was also the brother of the late Mary Hoban.

The funeral and burial will take place in Achill. Arrangements later.
