Remember when I was living in Dublin years ago a certain pirate radio station had a "prisoners requests" show. Then again it wasnt a completely original as Radio Luxembourg had something similar back in the day. As for "Hospitals requests" My Granny would never miss it. Seemingly at one time it was one of the few chances to hear the popular songs of the day on Irish radio.
