Jimmy Barrett, Breaffy. RIP

Sad to record the passing of another of Breaffy's oul stock and a contemporary of my own parents. Jimmy passed away last Friday 2nd Dec after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Nora, sons John Seamus and Kenneth, daughters Maureen, Patricia and Rhona and his extended family. A farmer by profession, many will also remember Jimmy from his time as a night porter in Breaffy house hotel during the 80's and 90's. He also worked in Castlebar bacon factory at one time. So long Jimmy, you'll be missed! RIP
