Chris, as it was a self published batch of 500 books that would have been expensive. The auther may have needed to sale them. The village of Turlough had stores. Were the books sold there? and for how much? What was the name of the auther? Where did he live?Did he sell them out of his house?,Was he or she wealthy? Where they then given away ? The author would have kept a copy,and that copy is still around I'll wager.. As the book is proprietary to a particular area the search should begin there. A copy was most likely donated to the church.This is where your search shall begin in earnest. A poster posted there asking people if they would go through their book collection..
