I agree with everything said. She was also my first teacher in St. Patrick’s and always took an interest of what her past pupils did even years after she had retired. She loved the Library and would always leave laden down with books for her nieces and nephews. She also loved discussing local history and had a great knowledge of ‘old Castlebar’. Her family went back generations in the town so definitely one of the ‘Auld Stock’. My sympathy to her family. May she rest in peace.
