What the hell good is changing the names of streets - as they did in Ballina? Are they more patriotic in Ballina as a result of such cosmetic changes? If people in Ballina and other places like it were sincere in removing from their midst the British presence, they might have put a little more effort into speaking their own language instead of sneering at those that did.
