I have heard people refer to 'that blasted tree' for any number of reasons but you might be referring to a tree that was struck by lightening? Then again you may not. Where abouts in Castlebar do the people you heard about "The blasted tree" come from? I'm curious to know where the tree that left this indelible mark is.
