Anyone know anything about a painter named Sir Archer O'Shea, who is said to be born around Castlebar, perhaps Islandeady. Later was knighted by royalty. His paintings hang in some of the London galleries. It has often been said that 'The Winslow Boy,' by Terence Rattigan, was based on the life of O'Shea.
