Staff Lally, as far as I can remember, was a native of Galway City. I think he was a postman. He was a close friend of the late great Josie Munnelly and other old Mayo footballers. Staff was a regular visitor to Castlebar I remember seeing him in the town many years ago. Members of Josie Munnelly's family might have more info on Staff.
