The recitation of martial poetry by a nun made me think of of heroic times past - wasn't it supposed to? Now its been a while since I was at school but I thought tempora heroica is the latin for heroic times. The a ending is feminine and that seemed appropriate as the nun's recitation was remembered by MM. The Beethoven link was for his heroica symphony which of course was dedicated to a man. But there you are. I rather liked his conductor's nimbus of hair. I apologise if I hurt any feelings.
