The following months trial involved an eighteen year old from Kiltimagh,charged with the murder of a 75 year old also from Kiltimagh.I won't reveal any names out of respect to both families.
The preliminary hearing took place in Swinford Court over seven days & 51 witnesses were heard.The Judge decided that there was a case to answer & forwarded the trial to the Courts in Dublin.Even though,the case had being front page news in all the local newspapers,once it went to Dublin,there's no mention of what happened in later issues.
So if anyone knows what became of the case,please let us know.
