The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was dedicated on Sunday Oct 6th 1901.The Parish of Aglish is associated with the Archdiocese of Tuam.The old "barn" church in the foreground was built in 1800.I dont know when it was pulled down.This is a simple answer to your question Lignator and I am sure UTP will have more to say about it.The history of the Parish is well documented in "Through Fagan's Gate" by Tom Higgins of Breaffy.
