We talked a long time and he told me many things I had wondered about so it was very helpful. Because I had been there in 2000 I was able to sort out in my mind where he was telling me the family land is. (He said "Off the Village Road" and we sorted out that meant off the highway leading toward St. Patrick's Church....he chuckled and said "you call that a highway do you?" LOL!! I'm sure we are full 5th cousins (it's possible we are not since there were two Timlin families in Knockfarnaught living just a couple houses apart and no one knows if they were related so it's assumed they were not) I've decided we ARE related.....Jimmy's sounds just the sort of fellow a person would like to be related to! ;) Thank you for tracking him down for me md....I think both he and I were pleased with the chit chat we shared and he's asked me to write so I'm doing that. He's invited us back to visit and said he will show us all around and I think that's a great offer on his part. I may take him up on it when I find out what's going on with this ear/neck of mine (MRI coming up on Wednesday so I get closer to an answer now). Thank you so much.......it was a great hours visit!
