It was great Paudie that you were able to identify the funeral itself.So the mystery is totally solved.I was delighted to be able to forward your photos of Hillside Tce to my friend Ferdia who now lives in Co Roscommon.On a hunch last year I had shown him the "funeral photo" because he lives in Roscommon.(Frenchpark-Hyde connection)I had actually travelled to Frenchpark to see if I could view any photos of Douglas Hydes funeral in the Douglas Hyde Center.Unfortunately the Center was closed when I visited.Imagine my delight when Ferdia identified the town the photo was taken in.You have completed the circle.Thanks.
