No lads and Lassie's I was'nt. Though I remember her well; Her classroom was just across the landing,from Bro. Gusie's classroom. Where I was held back an extra year!(that's why I'mso smahrt har har). I knocked on Mammy Hanley's door many a time to borrow the odd pieces of running supply's, ink, chalk,pencils, that filled the empty shelfs of our Cofra.I knocked with quiet respect, when her children were silent, a little louder when they were singing, knocked hard when everybody was laughing inside. I was taught by an equally great soul, Mrs. Giliard. They were carried on the wings of angels to sing in the choir of God.
