I remember hearing a story years ago of how on Halloween night,a number of people witnessed a very tall gentleman wearing a long coat and top hat,walking from where the boxing club is located now, to the protestant Church & he appeared to cross the road & go through the locked gate.Well the following year,a good number of us children whom lived in the nearby streets ie.Spencer,Ellison etc decided to investigate & met up in the late evening around the Courthouse.We were all armed with sticks & when we couldn't find anything,we decided bravely to visit Christ Church.As we turned the corner to go to the front gate,we got the biggest fright of our lives & all ran home screaming.Next morning,we discovered that someone had put a long coat & top hat on the Statue inside the grounds!
We got out of the ghost hunting business soon after that.
