Lucky Bags were a poor purchase with as I
recall cheap tasting sweets and little plastic
thigamijigs that you would also find in Xmas
crackers.
My pocket was never too full and value was
of the essence.Can you remember
6d wafers, where you could run your tongue
between the wafer and scoop into your mouth
unlike the 3d version which was far too thin.
Mc neelas on linenhall were the best for genorous
helpings.Or 99s from Duxies.
3d Perri rather than 4d Tayto a penny saved.
Choc Ices/Brunches/golly wogs.
Penny tofee bars in the red and silver wrapping
or better still Black Jacks in feching black and
silver.
Trigger Bars black toffee in chocolate.
The orange lollies with chololate topping, not
withice cream just a pure sucking experience.
And my favourite mainly because it suited the
budget was the Flash Bar.Green and white
wrapping gone forever.
