While 5 Cav are leaving castlebar the a reforming as the 54 Cavalry Sqn in Longford where they will train under their parent unit 4 Cavalry Sqn. Maybe someday people will realise how unique it was to have a cavalry unit operating in the town. Through the blood and the mud to the green fields beyond
