A very enjoyable Open day was held on Tuesday 27th January 2009 in St. Peter's N.S. Snugboro Castlebar Co Mayo. This was followed by a Community Mass at 7.30p.m. held in the school's new sports hall.

A huge crowd attended the Mass all the local Community groups from the Snugboro area were involved in the Mass along with pupils, teachers, and parents from the school. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. John Murray, School chaplain with the school choir leading the singing.

After the Mass refreshments were served by the Parents Committee and helpers. It was a testament to the success of the night when so many people stayed for the refreshments and a chat with community members new and old. A selection of photos are shown here with lots more to see on the school website
