As part of our Green-schools theme on Travel Snugboro N.S. has held many W.O.W. days (Walk to School on Wednesday.)

Children and adults alike are encouraged, where possible, to walk /or cycle to school on that day. Obviously it is not be suitable for many students to walk on that day, but they are invited to walk some or part of the way, or they could come to school via car pooling.

SAFETY!  SAFETY!  SAFETY!!

When children are walking on W.O.W. day, we advise that they be accompanied by an adult. Children are reminded to be very vigilant on the road and reminded of the Safe Cross Code. Motorists are asked to be mindful that children will be coming to school on their bicycles. If you are driving we ask you to exercise extreme caution as there are many children walking or cycling on W.O.W. days around the Snugboro area.
