The athletes, coaches and officials of the Venezuelan delegation will be introduced to the people of Castlebar on Wednesday June 18^th when they will parade through the town. The parade will be led by a flag party from the 18^th Infantry Battalion, Castlebar.

Marching bands taking part include Balla Pipe Band and bands from St Angela’s NS, St. Patrick’s BNS, Scoil Rafteiri, Breaffy NS and St. Peters NS, Snugboro.

Local sporting organisations and host town volunteers will also participate.

The assembly point for the Parade is the Church Car Park at 6pm. This is a great opportunity to welcome the athletes to our town and show them our support. Don’t miss it!
