Friday, October 27 – Women in Leadership Seminar – “Putting Your Spirit to Work One Woman at a Time” will be held at The National Museum of Ireland – Country Life
Turlough, Co. Mayo, Ireland
9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
There are many individuals working in organizations who question why success seems to come at the sacrifice of giving up personal meaning and objectives. They question their work, its purpose and contribution. They question their competencies and spirit.
Women are especially affected because in many organizations the traditional command and control guardian type of leadership does not value the types of competencies that woman bring to the workplace.
Finding purpose and meaning at work – putting your spirit to work are critical to being a successful leader in the 21st century.
As members of organizations and of society, we need to know that purpose is central to our well being and that we cannot depend on our organizations to hand us our purpose. We have to craft it out of our own lives and competencies.
This seminar is a hands on opportunity to discuss women in leadership issues, network with other women, and build an actionable plan and checklist for allowing purpose and meaning to emerge in our work life and role and position in the organization.
