Marking the centenary of the birth of playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett (1906-1989), a rehearsed reading of his seminal, groundbreaking play Waiting For Godot, a bleakly funny black comedy about the human condition that is the single most performed theatre work of the last fifty years, and about which more has been written than about the plays of Shakespeare. Read by a cast of Mayo’s theatrical finest, Eamon Smith, Ken Armstrong. Frank Herraghty and Oisín Herraghty.
