I found this photograph in a book belonging to my grandfather. It's amazing to think that less than a century ago dinosaurs and the local people shared the thoroughfares of Castlebar.
Today, the noise of the motor car has frightened the dinosaur away from the town. However, they can still be seen in the more peaceful environs of the Nephin Beg mountain range.
