Spooky Snow scene in Downtown Dallas

It looks like Castlebar got a dose this week of what we had here in Dallas this day two weeks ago - Cupid was freezing shooting those arrows. We had Snow, Snow, Snow! Usually Dallas is quite warm even in winter with highs of between 10 to 20°C each day. From time to time a low pressure system sweeps to the south of the Metroplex and the associated cold front brings in the snow with it.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

A bit like Castlebar it usually doesn't stay very long and by the next day it was all gone. The temperature the next day was a very healthy 15°C. There were still a few not so frosty snowmen hanging around in their bathing gear braving the balmy beach conditions the following day which unfortunately I didn't get to take a picture of.
