Loughs Conn and Cullin

Water levels on the lake were very low and conditions have not been very favourable for angling with few anglers fishing the lakes. Despite the poor conditions, several anglers enjoyed good sport and reported good catches. Graham Williams fishing out of Massbrook had 4, the best weighing in at 4 lbs. Richard Bacon, London also had 4, three of which he returned. Richard was particularly pleased, as these were his first wild brown trout taken from Irish waters. Joe Quinn and John Walsh, Cloghans had two each, the heaviest weighing 2.75 lbs and taken on spent mayfly. Brendan Levins, Dublin, also fishing out of Cloghans, had 3 nice fish for 4.5 lbs.
