On Thursday night last Castlebar Urban District Council met to set a rate for the Taxis that serve Castlebar. An interesting new 'Rank' appeared at Newtown. You've never seen so many Castlebar Taxis together before!

Every year at the end of August the youth of Ireland assemble at Mosney, Co. Meath to compete in the National Community Games Finals. The qualifying rounds at provincial level are now taking place. Castlebar teams are competing today for a place in the Community Games
