Titanic Re-Enactment

To mark the occasion of the centenerary of the journey taken 100 years ago, a re-enactment has taken place of the journey taken by 14 persons from Laherdane by pony and sidecar to Castlebar Railway Station.

A bi-lingual plaque was unveilled at Castlebar Railway Station by an t-Athair Micheál Mac Gréill S.J. to mark this historic occasion.

The bronze plaque was sponsored by Gnó Mhaigh Eo.

On Sunday next an Taoiseach Mr. Enda Kenny T.D. will officially open Addergoole Titanic Cultural park in Laherdane.
